It's almost Valentine's Day, which means odds are your kid has just told you they need 35 unique Valentine's cards for each one of their classmates, and you have exactly 2 hours to get them. If kids are going to do one thing, it's wait until the very last minute to ask you for something they need. It's just the laws of nature.

Valentine's Day as a kid is so much fun. You get to write little messages to all of your friends (maybe putting a little more effort into your crush's card), play with stickers to jazz them up (nothing more fun than playing with stickers), and you get to collect all the cards (and more importantly, candy) from your classmates. It's a day imbued with magic and fun when you're a kid. When you're an adult, is has the potential to be even more fun, if you're in love, but if you're not… it's a day you'd just rather skip over.
